#MEMEFI# Binance Futures will delist perpetual contracts USDⓈ-M DEFIUSDT and MEMEFI (11.08.2025)
Published on August 6, 2025 at 10:30
This is a general announcement. The products and services mentioned here may not be available in your region.
Colleagues-Binance,
Binance Futures will close all positions and conduct an automatic settlement for the perpetual contracts USDⓈ-M DEFIUSDT and MEMEFI on 2025-08-11 09:00 (UTC). The contracts will be delisted after the settlements are completed.
Please note:
Users are recommended to close all open positions before delisting to avoid automatic settlement.
Users are prohibited from opening new positions on the aforementioned contracts starting from August 11, 2025, 08:30 (UTC).
During the last hour prior to the established settlement time for the futures contract, the Futures Insurance Fund will not be used to support the liquidation process concerning this futures contract. Any liquidation initiated during the last hour will be executed as a single Immediate or Cancel order ( "IOCO" ), which will be placed on the market in one attempt. If, after the execution of IOCO, there are enough assets in the user's account to maintain the required margin ( after accounting for realized losses and any applicable liquidation fees ), the liquidation will be halted. If IOCO does not succeed in fully reducing the position to a level that meets the margin maintenance requirements, any remaining part of the position will be liquidated through automatic leverage reduction ( ADL ). Users are strongly advised to actively monitor and manage open positions during the last hour, as increased volatility and reduced liquidity may be observed during this period.
To protect users and prevent potential risks in an extremely unstable market, Binance Futures may, without additional notice, take further protective measures regarding the above-mentioned contract, including but not limited to adjusting the maximum leverage value, position value, and maintenance margin at each margin level, updating funding rates such as interest rates, premiums, and capped funding rates, changing the components of the price index, and using the last price protection mechanism to update the marking price.
